Looking for advise for a bull I have 2yr old that either stepped on his "tool" and it swelled up at the end into a ball about the size of a orange. He was sent to the vet for a couple weeks for treatment and it never relly got better. The drainage stopped and finally the wound healed but still has the ball on the end of it. He is headed for the sale barn but was wanting input on if he would be good to be processed or not. Unsure on what medications was given at the vet but that could be found out I think. Any help with this would be great. I hate this happend because he was bought about a year ago and he's registered but that''s how it goes.

Ask what the withdrawal date on the meds are. I think he would be lean and tough. I ate some steaks out of yearling bulls. They were banded and fed for 45 days. Kept bulls for thier contemporary groupings.

Why do you think he would be both lean and tough?

The medications given are Tetradone (2 times)and Dexasone (3 times) in July.

Then medication is not an issue ~ withdrawl date has passed. Vaccinations withdrawl? No ~ then he should be fine to eat.
