I've already been chastised here for buying a heifer "too cheap." Couple days ago, someone locally had a 1-1/2 yr. Herf/Limo heifer for sale for $400. Did I see the ad soon enough? NO! Can't get 'em all! (And then I'd have to take the abuse -- again). With no background, she'd have been a slaughter girl, that would have been profitable.

The only thing I woulda said was DAM! I never run across those deals.
I said that, and some other things. :)

Then I guess if I told you what I bought two bulls for this year that would be like throwing salt on a wound or something. True, I could have paid more but why.

Naw, I ain't looking for any bulls. Right now I want an Angus cow with a diamond in her butt.

JoGee . . . Have never been in the market for any bulls on-the-hoof. That is totally not my department, if they can't live in a nitrogen tank. Slick, if you find that cow with the diamond, and she has twin heifers -- LMK. :)
