Ranchers in the Klamath Basin (Oregon) are forced to liquidate large numbers of cattle. The bureau of reclamation has halted water deliveries to farmers and ranchers for the 2001 year to ensure water levels for an endangered species. Faced with no water for irrigation of pastures ranchers are partially liquidating herds. A bucket brigade has been planned to help ensure survival of our livlihood.
