Her greatest fear was not being able to show next week. Thankful it wasn't broken hyperextended her elbow

All's well that ends well. "Her greatest fear was not being able to show next week." That says it all. Positive attitude. Good for her.
Nice barn.
Entry deadline for the Eastern Regional is May 1st.

Poor little gurl!! She sure is cute. Tough and determined huh. ❤

Well the heifer show was yesterday and I couldn't be more proud of the girls! They did a great job for their first time showing heifers. They still have a lot to learn but that is why I love seeing them show, they learn so much working with the calves. E's arm was sore but she took her aspirin and sucked it up and got it done

Well they are all done great day E won supreme grand champion market hog her twin sister S won her middleweight class . The grand and reserve grand were both out of S sow she is the breeder of record so she couldn't be any more over the moon. When picking her pig to show she kept the runt of the litter because she said she wanted someone that buys my pig to win! They also showed prospect steers and did a great job with them. They didn't place with them but they did a good job showing them.

Not only does your family breed good cattle, they breed good hogs too. Congratulations to them on a good fair.

great to see the girls had a great time and having their projects judge so well is like icing on the cake. tell them great job for me.

Nice job. Those are some fantastic pigs! And I love that as a breeder, she is willing to sell the best to make a name for herself. Well done all around!

Thanks the girls had a great time now they are wanting to find more shows! Sydney's pig gave them an April Fools litter of 12.

I have been telling y'all about the girls I failed to mention that the farm was well represented by some other hard working youth as well. JC purchased a bull calf from us last year the calf was actually sold as a split off from his dam at the Maternal Gems sale she stood grand champion Market steer.

We won't find out carcass results until the awards banquet but I looked at his ultrasound when they took it and it looked really good to me but I don't profess to being that good at reading ultrasound. This was JC's last GCA show so I was so happy she was able to end her GCA career with a Grand Champion. This young lady also won high individual at the national meats judging contest this year so beautiful and smart!

Then Miss Tucker led a Gizmo heifer to Grand Champion Angus heifer and Reserve Grand Champion over all breeds! This heifer was a twin that we grafted onto our nurse cow. Tucker has done a great job with her!
