I have a two year old bred heifer that has began loosing her hair in patches, she isn't rubbing or scabbing up so I don;t think it would be lice. Any ideas?

This time of year the only thing that comes to mind is lice.

I agree with Dun, I would treat with a pour on labeled to treat Lice and other biting insects.
