When is it considered springtime and safe to worm with a grubicide in SE Missouri?
My vet says they have never in 30 years seen a problem with using Ivomec any time of the year, but I would rather be safe than sorry.
I know you are not supposed to use after Nov 1st or so, but when does it become ok again?
I also have not seen flys matching the pictures of warble flys around my part of the country. But then I don't watch my cows 24-7 either.

If you're seeing the grub holes on their backs you should be OK to use a grubicide now. We use one in the fall so haven;t had to use a spring treatment in a goodly number of years.
I hardly ever see the flys but see the calves and cows high tailing it so I know they're after them
