I have not fed grain to my cows and bull for months now, and the vet said they look great. They are just on pasture, lush green over a foot tall pasture. My bull keeps growing. I am concered that if he gets too big we will have trouble breeding him in the future. Can this be the case?
Also, if I have Heiffers can I breed them to my bull or do I have to find another bull?

Can't say for certain, but we've pastured bulls during the off season and never had any problems come breeding season. As far as the heifers go, if they are related to the bull you probably want to breed them to a different bull. If they are not related to the bull and he throws smaller calves that a heifer could deliver without problems, then go for it.
