My heifer (bred by my partner) was grand champion at the National Shorthorn Heifer Show on the weekend. I'm so pleased!!!

Nice looking heifer, congratulations! Just being nosy, not offensive, is that a bull ring in her nose? Why is that there?

It is a nose ring, it is not go all the way through the nose as it is just a clip on.
In Australia when parading cattle in the ring all cattle must have rings for control.
Bulls have permanent nose clips where females have clip on.
