With calving just weeks away for some and longer for others now is the time to make sure you have you calving supplies located and ready to go. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your flashlight. Have some exam gloves, ob sleeves, ob chains, handles and jack ( both parts) located. I keep these things in a five gallon bucket in the garage and can grab it if needed, jack stays out of the bucket. If I read this later it will help me remember to do it too.

we're a couple months away still, and all that stuff usually sits on the kitchen table... you get used to it after a while, along with the tagging plier, banding pliers, syringes and needles
