Those are some good looking heifers.

Franke - great looking heifers. What On-Line sale are they going into? or having your own? Good job on the pics. That is the hardest thing about a sale - PICTURES. I hate that part.

That's a fantastic group of heifers! Simmis I assume? The red heifer is the sleeper! Not as flashy as most of the others, but she's going to be a really good one down the road. I'd hazard to guess that based on those pictures alone, the first blaze faced one (lot 2) will top the group in a sale...

I like lot 10 over 7 based on shoulder structure. I will give 7 the advantage in natural spring of rib and heart girth. Both are awesome females, but I'm a sucker for a really good redhead!

Thank you. We are going to try our own on SC. I wish we could take credit for them; broke down and payed someone for them plus videos.

Thank you! Yes Simmentals besides lot 6 is a Maine angus half blood. The red is out of our hers bull and a cow that was out of another herd bull... makes me prouder that way. She is tame my then 3 year old showed her with my dad at the fair in 2019 as a calf. I hope lot 2 tops it as she is mine!! The rest are my dad and brothers.

Lots 1-4 are out of the same cow 1-3 are ET's and 4 is her natural calf. Lot 5 and 7 are out of the same cow. Lots 8-9 are out of the same cow and lots 9 and 10 are the same bull.

It always amazes me how opinions on cattle confirmation vary. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I have seen even people on this Board come to blows in the past (not recently) over whose opinion was better.

It is a good looking set of heifers, regardless!

Based on those clips, I have to revise my thoughts! I still like the red female, but she's not a show prospect compared to others. She's a cow. Lot 8 gets my vote for show female in the group. Smooth made, wide sprung, sound and fills her tracks without getting too banana legged. The lot 2 heifer makes a nice profile, but isn't as attractive on the move. There's a handful in there the have too much set to the hock for my personal taste and roach in the loin too much for a show ring (the hock angle and slope in the hooks-to-pins line directly results in that roach). Overall, not a bad animal in the bunch! There's some super good show prospects, a donor cow or two in the making, and a nice group of production based females. Well done!

I had a feeling that lot 2 was a Bankroll. They all have that same front end shape and build. Nice set of heifers

Lots 1 and 8 are my favorite I do believe.
