Got my website up!!

Help Support CattleToday:

I noticed that you have 3 different breeds of bulls. My question do you select certain cows to bred to a particular bull, like say you have 20 cows for the red angus and another number for the other bulls?
Did I ask that correctly? Maybe if I read alittle more on the website instead of day dreaming at the pics the answer may be there.
But nice site.

You have it right. We select cows based on phenotypical as well as breeding in the cows on what to breed them to

Well done.

The picture thing has been mentioned numerous times. That should be priority #1 since it's likely going to eat up your bandwidth with the host too.

Minor suggestion, add a map to your place from Google on the Contact Us page.

You img-src this image:
http://www.mannlepolledherefords.com/Ca ... 08_012.jpg
and then force the browser (client side) to scale it down to
225 x 301 (original is 2592x1944). If you aren't using it for anything else, scale it down to 255x301 and re-upload it to
http://www.mannlepolledherefords.com/Ca ... 08_012.jpg

Also, in photography, there is only the 'fore' and the 'ground' so for compelling images make sure the cattle *only* is the 'fore' and the winter is the 'ground'. I shouldn't look at a picture and think, oh and there is the road. I also shouldn't look at a picture and think, oh, there is the bar on something. The images should be a little wider to fit the text I think. Something like this:

I used Gimp (free Photoshop clone), but there are probably tools online ( http://www.picnik.com/ ) that allow for basic cropping (cut-out the part you like) and scaling (change the resolution -- and hence the size of the image file).

I don't like the animated arrow.

Overall though, I like it. Nice job.
