Got Grass?

With recent rain and heat and some fertilizer we got grass this year cows are belly deep.

Haven't seen that much green grass in a while

Looking good. I've got a pasture like that, that is not getting grazed this year. I'll let the cows into it in the fall to punch it down and get it rotting.

I think that's a lot more than 'belly deep'.
Looks great tho. Mine is that green but not nearly that tall.

Went from got grass to where is the grass haven't got any rain since first part of July and it has been hot grass dried up and cows don't want it oat field ripened early so I have turned them into it once it is gone we will have to feed bales I think we only have about 2 weeks then its bales might have to wean early and cull heavy to have enough feed for winter

That looks wonderful. We've had a dry August, plus triple digits for a week has burned us up.
