I would try measuring him again. By my poor math skills thats better then 6 pounds a day

546# not bad weight for a weaned calf ? Whoa at 9 months you'd better be into the 8's . What do your heifers weigh at what age ? If they are the same size or smaller at the same at the same age , you better be carefull when you put the big stud out with them .
