Jerseys are claimed to be one of the better calving ease cows of the dairy breeds. Any bull that you would use on a heifer should work fine with her unless she's particularly small for a jersey

Any deal that you are happy with and don't regret after you get the animals home is OK aslong as you and the hubby agree.
My bride is a sucker for herf heifers as well, if they have horns it's an added bonus. Was trying to get away from them but I know the secret to a happy marriage so we seem to get one or two more every year.
