Howdy. What are your plans to get started? Do you know anything about cattle or just going to learn as you go?

Hi MrChevy, I have basic livestock knowledge so lots of research and assistance. I want to spend the first 2 years building a small herd , start by purchasing a few cow/calf pairs and several weaning calves, I plan on an AI program through my local vet for the first few years to keep input costs down (running a bull to breed a small amount of cows doesn't seem feasible). Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated. This is just an initial though .. i don't have allot of $$$ to buy adult livestock as i need to think about other ranch expenses. Thanks
