I would think "can she cook" is a lot more important consideration than the age differences.

Only if there are no good restaurants in town.

Me and my hubby first date was April fools day. By that Oct 11 we married,
35 years later have 3 kids, and 15 grandkids, 1 great grandkid.

I agree Vett. I thought Mr Hd and I moved fast. We met in Sept. got engaged in Jan on my Bday (we only saw each other every other weekend during this time) and tied the knot in August. We have been together unofficially for 16 years as we lived in sin for awhile.. :secret: ;-) We just decided it was cheaper to live together rather than pay mortgages on two places as well as being able to see each other more often . It was a 4 hour drive before .

Congrats Rowdy and best wishes to your fiance. When you know it is right, time does not matter..

Thanks to all that has responded, yes we have set a date, July 4th, we met on July 4th, so we thought it would be cool if we married on July 4th, If I cant talk her in to running off and gettin married, that is the date.

I just noticed you are in Mississippi. Probably won't be able to get there in time for the wedding ceremony, but if I hustle I may can make it for the reception and the free food. :nod:
