Gelbvieh/Shorthorn crosses

Some Gelbvieh/Short horn crosses. These are not great pictures. These are all 3 yr old cows and they definately look better in person. The first red cow is by far my favorite, I managed to make her look terrible.

It must be a great cross; both muscle and milk from both breeds, And you are still able to top it with more terminal muscle!

They are all bred back Red Angus this year. The calves have been hitting the ground long and ropey. I give them about 6 weeks to fill out pretty good. I will post some pics of them in April or May

you can run all over the pasture trying too get that perfect shot, i like too see em at work.. ;-)
