I have been happy with the 1/2 Gelbvieh daughters, good udders and lots of milk, Line bred you really can get some awesome calves... I kept 1 linebred daughter so far, she's looking really stout and fat, and there's another (only 3 weeks old now) that is showing promise... comes from a good line and is this cow's second calf.. I would have kept her first daughter if she had another 100 lbs on her, she looked really nice too, just a touch small.. she looked just like her dad, blonde, stout and a muscled back and butt... this one I'm looking at now is a bit more like her grandma... which isn't a bad thing either, she's darker, and maybe a little less muscle, but looks quite correct so far.
