brother bought a big flat of nice tall veggie plants for like .50 cents each an planted them yesterday evening.still have peas to plant,but dont know where we will plant them now.an we have over 40 tater plants coming up real good.

Heard of Brandywine but never tried them.
I always grow some heirloom toms. They really do have a richer taste. Downside for me is that they don't so darn long. If I put them in May (optimum time here), at over a foot tall, they aren't ready until September. We pray for late frosts.
