Anybody got any hints on how to have a garage sale? I need some boat gasoline............

Probably the best thing would be to sell your boat. That should get you enough money for a fill-up or two, if you shop carefully. :tiphat:

My best hint is to have it on a pay period weekend.

Identify what you want to sell. Price ~.10 cents on dollar. Adv in local paper. Sign in front of your place. Plenty of cash/change...small bills. Be prepared to haggle on price. Asking price label on each item. Good weather. Don't take large $$ bills so you run out of change.

Stuff that doesn't sell: (a) hold another sale. (b) Load up and trip to dump.
