Gait and soundness in bulls ?

Couple of suggestions: Try filming with most of the screen covered by the bull and the ground - the sky is so bright it makes everything else black. If you cut out most of the sky, the camera will compensate and brighten up the image.

Also, it might be easier to examine his gate from the side, rather than from right behind him...

neither of these are particularly good video's, but I'm inclined to agree with Knersie that I was mistaken! :D The first video the bull (Future Trend) is a bit overconditioned and does have a tendency to short stride at the moment, however I will say he's the most athletic yet gentle breeder we've ever owned or bred, doesn't matter if it's an 800lb yearling heifer or an old granny cow, he never knocks them down and he always settles them!

this was shot with my cell phone, no zoom or bells and whistles, just me trundling along behind the big fella's trying not to trip over and keep them on screen :D But I agree with your assessment of the quality. (of the video's that is!)
