I just got back yesterday from Minnesota. Gasoline is about $3.00 a gallon down there. That's cheap compared to Canada. Up here its $1.14 a liter Canadian or about $3.90 a gallon US.

CRR,

Little mix-up in your calculation. Canadian price for a US gallon would be $4.32 CDN (assuming $1.14 a litre)

But now I am assuming you were talking about that price in US funds...which would be $3.84 US....guess you were close.

Living next to the border does have it's benefits :D Grab every tankful of gas we can get when we are visiting the US. Just too bad I can't wheel into the Holiday station with a tanker...or even just a couple jerry cans. :(
