What are you getting for mileage out of your 3/4 ton 4X4? Not towing. Gas or diesel, and brand . Please be honest . I will be looking for one in the near future , but it will mostly be used for the daily commute. It will be an automatic , and will be used. I am a chevy guy, but considering any.

Son has a 16 Chevy says on the freeway cruise control on driving 65 to 70 he gets 17 to 18.
Pulls his 28' travel trailer ok mileage falls to around 10 mpg.

2008 duramax, cruise set 60 22+ mpg, 75 19-20 mpg, 90 (out west) 15 mpg. Normal mixed city and highway 17-19.
Truck has efi live and some other mods

2013 F-250 crewcab 4x4 6.7 diesel 17.5 mpg
2017 F-250 crewcab 4x4 6.2 gas 15.5 mpg

2017 Chevy 2500 4x4 Diesel running 75-80mph is around 16mpg, truck only has 10K miles so I would expect 1-1.5mpg gain over time.

If you don't go over 65mph it will do a solid 20. With the fuel shortage I started pinning it on 65mph. Was really surprised.

My 2015 with 120K miles and 35" tires would do around 17 running 75-80mph down the highway.

Towing is mixed depending on how heavy. My boat with get 15-16 mpgs doing 75. Tractors or stuff like that around the #10K mark its more like 11 or 12. Start pushing that #20K mark and it will go single digits.

All my trucks have oversized, heavy mud terrain 10 ply tires, several hundred pounds of tools and feed, bumpers, etc.

The 2013 and up Chevrolet and GMC trucks are a big improvement over the previous years. The 15s are right IMO. The one I traded in did not have a single thing wrong.

Those trucks should all be priced good since the new changes came out in 17.

02 Ford PSD 7.3 diesel, with a manual 6 speed, 3.73 rearend ratio, 18-20 mpg hwy consistently if you keep it under 70 mph and under 2000 rpm. Mileage goes down with a heavy foot and above 70 mph. Towing around 13-14 mpg.... a lot depends could be less.

My 2013 Ram 3500 single wheel diesel averages 20+ mpg till you get over 80mph. And at 65 mph it will adverage 24 - 25 mpg. Out of the 14 diesel pickup trucks that I've owned this one gets the best mpg.

Yes I forget what V-8 he has the 5.3 or 6.0.

2014 F-250. Gas. 6.2 liter engine. Supercab, 8 foot bed. 4x4.

In town and short runs. 13 mpg
Open road 15.5.
Pulling 16 foot trailer with cattle 10 to 11.

2013 f-250 4x4 crewcab, 6.2 gas with 3:73 gears.
Monthly average of city, hwy, hauling trailers and 4x4 at ranch/beach...hi 11's/low 12's
Worst mpg not pulling a trailer...9mpg, bouncing of the speed limiter at 95 and feathering to 99
Worst pulling a load..7 mpg pulling a GN dump(18k plus) in aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
Best MPG running speed limit...16.6, thats with wind on the rear.
The best thing I did was have the truck "tuned" after warranty ran out. I can run well over 100 now and get better than 9 mpg.
Truck has 90k on it and run the crap out of it. I have had AC issue under warranty and I think thats it so far.

08 Dodge 2500 Crew Cab Long Bed 6.7 Diesel 6 speed Auto 4x4 Fully deleted- 16-17mpg average, very little city driving, mostly highway and backroad.

2017 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 6.7 Diesel 6 speed auto 3.42 gears- 12-13mpg towing 8000k pounds. 17-18 empty. Not deleted.
