Can I ask a silly question? Why commute in a 3/4 ton truck?

Why not? A few reasons I drive a 1 ton 4x4 truck is, visibility and safety, and I can still sorta work on a truck. My first vehicle was a truck and I've been driving one now for over 40 years why change.

I hate riding in small vehicles for safety and owning 2 rarely pencils out.
