Anyone using them for equipment parts and the like? About to rebuild steering and front wheel bearings on the 7040 and Kubota is prohibitively expensive. Also need to get parts for case and ford tractors. And a Long.
Been reading reviews on fridayparts this morning. Seems to be around an 85% satisfaction rate. Many people, when getting an incorrect part, are sent the correct part free of charge and are told to keep the incorrect part. If that's true that'd be pretty good service IMO.Messicks sells OEM parts so only thing different from your local dealer maybe prices.
I should say I bought 2 identical seal kits from Friday parts. Matching bags, numbers matching on the bags, numbers on the actual seals matched, but they weren't the same sizes. 1 seal kit leaked and needed a rebuild, the other is still going (though I have another OEM kit on the shelf in case).
A Long? Say it aint so. LolAnyone using them for equipment parts and the like? About to rebuild steering and front wheel bearings on the 7040 and Kubota is prohibitively expensive. Also need to get parts for case and ford tractors. And a Long.

thinking about getting tie rod ends from fridayparts and getting the bearing and such thru messicks. I got more time than I've got money at the moment. That's great but when your out the labor of doing the repair a 2nd time or the downtime of waiting for parts to arrive from China, how much did you really save?
This Long just keeps on a going. Papaw rarely did preventative maintenance. Fed with it, cut rake and baled with it. Gonna need a clutch before long. Ignition switch is done done done. Know where a parts tractor is?A Long? Say it aint so. Lol

We agree completely on that.Things that are external and quick to change I have no problems with aftermarket parts.
Bearings, seals, shafts, friction disc's, etc that require extensive time to R&R I try to use the best quality available because doing the job once with expensive parts is cheaper than twice with cheap parts.
