Freez brand gone bad.

Anyone had a freez brand peel really bad. My bulls is peeling and now has lumped up. I lanced the abcess and got the swelling down. The brand is ruined. I think the brander over did it. Any thoughts.

i think you are right ,brander didn't know what he was doing. most just peel off where brander actually touched. might try some pine tar or icthamol

Perhaps the bull(s) moved while the brander was being applied, or the brander had too much pressure applied and stayed on too long. Any or all of the above.
