free cattle software

any out there. i saw ranch manager and cattle max but i really dont want to pay for it. i know this comes across wrong but i just cant have another bill.
im going to try to make my own in excel and see how that works. seperate spreadsheets probly but easier than sorting thru the inch thick book i use now.
all i need is to keep track of calfing dates.
when momma was born
taggin numbers
working dates who got what etc

it all is written down but scrolling thru that big book is a pita.

save the bashing me for wanting it free part alright...if its free..its fer me

Excel is a great program no need for any thing else. You can google and find online tutorials all free.

yeah..my buddy here at werk is an expert in excel too...probly what ill end up using
