True if kept on a feedlot long enough and on sufficient feed the 2 larger cow's calves may in the end total up the same as the 3 smaller cows calves. However the only thing that matters to me is their weight and condition at about 14 months. I will take 3 frame 4.5 - 5.0 cows over 2 frame 6-7 cows any day. Jim

Do not get me wrong Jim. In the feedlot one of the steers from a big cow equals a steer from a medium size cow, when it comes to the feed used to feed it out, even if it takes more time to feed out the one with medium frame.

So basically we agree on it all?
