I have 5 calves that have been on a hot grain ration since December, recently two of them have begun hobbling around taking "baby steps" with their back legs and not wanting to put weight on the backs of their feet. One definetly needs his feet clipped, but the other is in fine shape besides being bloated slightly last week. I had already backed off on the grain. Our vet suggests Phenylzone to reduce the inflamation, does anyone know of a more permanent cure??

Change of diet? When in doubt, look for the cause, and correct it.
