I was planning on going. Wanted to see about that Brahma bull and those Brama cows, but stuff kept coming up.

Sent 2 600 lb bulls to Arab . Numbers were down at all 3 sales in NE Al but prices indicate they were going up a little .

I'll actually be in Bama tomorrow and for a good long while after, Mid State over at Letohatchee still a good place to catch a sale?

I think it's one of the best in the state ; usually one of the largest , numbers wise .

We used to drop loads over to Clanton for shipping off to Uniontown and once that became an option we just plumb quit going out to Letohatchee, I probably haven't been there in 10, maybe more years.

I think part of the reason #'s down at local sales is it's just so wet . A lot of folks can't get in to load them . Got lucky with our 2 . Caught the trailer empty and came in a different gate , shorter route and able to stay on top of terraces instead of our normal route .

Yeah, but it sure beats the hell out of bone dry and tropical climate pastures blowing dust so hard you'd think you were in Arizona.

I'll take wet over dry but my toes are starting to web .

Think their Saturday sale has more buyers , may be just farmers , but a bigger crowd anyway. I haven't been in years !

I hadn't either, just went too check 'em out and watch a few sale..spent a lot of Saturdays there in the early 90s. Buying roping calves..

Since Montgomery stockyard closed it doors..they must be going there..

Just saw them advertised .. bet they went high though ,they were in good shape

Didn't see much about them except these pics on their FB page. I noticed they had at least one Char cow in the bunch. Are you gonna try to go?

Probably not…only ones I buy anymore are Bulls, private treaty..though I go sometimes to watch..
