Don't bring a Ford to a gun fight.
Since I bought a new F 150 in 1988....the reason I quit smoking....didn't want to stink up the Velour upholstery, I've had 1 other ford...a 20 year old (when purchased) 1 ton, 4 OD on the floor, 460 flat bed dually farm truck, currently sold. Been in Dodge and currently 2011 Silverado....not sorry!

All I know is my 2002 F-350 4x4 diesel is the best truck I have ever owned -- and maybe the best vehicle I have ever owned (though our Toyota Sequoia SUV is pretty nice and been highly dependable as well). Never had a major issue with the Ford, and I have always thought that the fit-and-finish on Fords was far better than Chevy/GMC or Dodge/Ram. I also had a 1993 F-150 and put 285,000 miles on it before I finally sold it so my wife could get a car SHE liked. That Ford also never had an issue.

The Ford F series is my choice. I bought my first one new in 1981. I have owned 150s, 250s and a 350. I put 276 thousand on the 350 and never done anything but service.
On Monday, I bought a 2019 F-250 XLT. I am 68 years old. Why not?

276K is about when the Cummins is done being broken in
I did a head gasket in mine at that mileage and the cylinders still had nice crosshatching

I can see this happening, my family , and me , always chevy. Bought a ford in december , couldn't be happier. But can you imagine, when you get to prison, and they ask "why you here", the fight it would cause, everyone rioting and on lockdown! NO RAMENS! BS!
