.....flex fuel vehicles can run on e85 which is 83%
That would be the high alcohol junk

correct but all flex fuel vehicles can run on it . Its a scam because its cheaper but your fuel mileage goes to HeII

It's time to do away with ethanol and ethanol subsidies. Come on Donald, you're missing an opportunity here!

I know, referencing the engine more so than the body style. The truck will serve you well.

I don't know about other parts of the nation, but I did exhaustive searches on all the major web finders, CarGurus, Autotrader, etc. I wish I had the time to describe my experience. It seemed like 70 % of what looked like good deals were scams. Let me use Paul Miller Ford in Lexington. Just the facts so they don't sue me. They listed a new 2017 F-250 SD. I made an offer. I got a response to the offer. We went back and forth. After a few communications on web and on phone, the salesman tells me he is sorry that he found out the vehicle we were discussing requires the buyer to have an FIN code. It relates to fleet sales.

I had other cases where I drove 200 miles only to find out the listed vehicle was bait.

Did you just fall of the turnip truck? Of course they are scams!

I know. I have never enjoyed buying a vehicle. There is a reason people describe car salesman as crooks.

Nice truck. Did you consider older, perhaps 10 year old, trucks?

Thank you.

Yes. I also looked at high mileage trucks. Larry Stigers in Frankfort has a huge inventory of clean fleet vehicles that come in off lease.

There is no sweet spot. The outrageous cost of new trucks has some of the older models selling almost at their original sticker price. It is a function of declining money value, demand and inflation.
