At what stage do you usually cut them ,are you doing them as haylage or dry , where would I find information on forage beans? I had a field of beans last that had alot of volunteer corn so we cut it and made it as haylge , we cut it when then beans were pretty well podded. the cows love it feeds very well.

Check with your local extension and see how far back there records go. The origanol use for soybeans in this country was hay. The dairy farmers all baled them. If you want a filthy job poke wires on a hand tie baler in bean hay :shock:
