Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with Floppy Kid Syndrome?

I have heard but never seen it.

This weekend just gone, I found a kid in the paddock that didnt seem to be able to control his back legs. I stood him up and he'd stand with his legs stretched right out the back of him, go for a few steps then wobble over. When laying down he couldnt get his back legs underneath him, so he'd fall over onto his side and thrash around like a mad thing.

My first thought was that he'd been thrown by another doe and injured his back or legs, but nothing on his body was tender.

He wasnt getting any milk from mum, so I tubed him a few times but he ended up dying. In the last few hours he was losing clear fluid and mucus from his anus.

Was just wondering whether this is consistent with floppy kid syndrome, or anything else you can think of?

Thanks
