Every year here we auction off the entire NFL. The money goes into a pot and is divided up 50%to the super bowl winner, 20% to the super bowl loser, 10% each to the losers of the AFC and NFC champ game, and finally 10% to the team with the worst record. This year after the auction there is $5,100 in the pot. Some people get a little carried away. Both KC and SF sold for $510. Too rich for my blood. I bought Buffalo. I hope this is their year. Oh, we have a big super bowl party. The two people who have the teams playing in the game have to buy prime rib to feed the crowd. The rest of the dinner is a semi organized potluck.

Sounds like fun... I have no interest in commercial team sports so if I knew the name of a hockey team I would buy that.

The fact is I very rarely watch pro football. Gets toward the end of the season I will check to see how my team are doing. I am not spending enough to buy one of the winners. So I look up which teams came real close to making it and buy one of those. I don't understand paying $100 for a team too good to have the losing record yet not a prayer of making the play offs.

In my opinion Kendrick Lamar will put on a good show. Now he isn't Willie Nelson or Dolly Parton. I understand not everybody likes rap.
