I know it's early yet, but I want to be ready. I am all ready seeing flies and I feel like this year is going to be a bad one with the mild winter that we had. Does this fly mineral work for you guys? They claim that the fly insecticide that gets deposited in the manure piles will kill the eggs when the adult flies lay their eggs there. The theory makes sense, but does it actually work? I would love to hear from everybody that has tried it. Thanks!

It works well, but you should also have some type of control for pre-existing adults. The chemical in the mineral is a Growth Regulator and simply keeps larvae in the manure form developing into adults.

It also only works if all your neighbors within fly traveling distance use it.

Otherwise their flies just cross the property line! :(
