A "CHAIN HARROW". This is an excellent implement tool to use for breaking up manure piles into very small pieces which allows them to dry out much faster and therefore; you don't have a fly problem. You can pull it with a tractor or even a light pickup truck. Another benefit is that you can then get the use from the free "fertilizer" of the broken piles on your pastures. And lastly, this is much more friendly to the environment than using chemicals and insecticides, which over time we have seen insects including flies build up resistance to.
