Hi, We have two heifers that were with a bull, for 2 months. We have not had them checked by a vet, but from the size we think they are pregnant. We noticed yesterday that one of our heifer's teats are becoming longer, more noticable, so this confirms my guess of pregnancy. Right? Can anyone tell me about how far along she is? What to look for next?

I would use the calender method, figure out when the bull was with them and that should give you a window to work with. Or have your vet palpate them and tell you guestimated due date.

lilfarmgirl,

It's hard for someone sitting at a computer to tell you how far along they are. If you don't know the breeding date, Why don't you get your vet to palpate (as Beef 11 suggested), to give you a idea of when to expect.

Any idea when you put the bull with them and when the bull was taken away? That should give you a 2 mo. window.
