We have always bred 12-14 hours after first signs of standing heat. Close to 20 years now. We also have always synchronized. This year to save on costs and hopefully get even better AI results were going to do natural heats. So interesting those of you saying your breeding earlier and getting better results. Are y'all hitting them with GNRH at breeding?

GNRH - depends. If we breed EARLY in their standing heat (like 3-5 hours), I will give GNRH. I like to breed 8-10 hours after onset of standing, but we have a tech come out mid morning & mid afternoon, so timing depends on him. Generally get 80+% conception.
