First Calf Heifer, had her calf 2-3 weeks ago. Had to pull the calf, a minor tear on the vulva, passed the afterbirth fine. The tear didn't expand the birth canal, the tear was on the outer lip probably from a caught hoof.
She started oozing the creamy puss like goo that progressed to bloody goo as I treated her with common antibiotics as I though I was treating just the tear. She became in better spirits and everything cleared up, but only for a week.
Well the puss started leaking out her end again, but the tear seems to be fine.
She drinks and eats hay just fine, but this morning she didn't finish her grain. So something has to be wrong! haha.
I just saw her pass urine and she can empty without starting and stopping. The urine appears to be pretty clear, not too cloudy.
