Anyone in danger from the fires going on now in Oklahoma and Texas. A lot of coverage on Headline news. Live coverage of a fire near OK City.
A few in Florida also.

Don't forget, disc around the barns and haypiles or any other thing you might not want burned. Anything you can do to slow it down will help the fire department save it. Saw a lot of ranches in Oklahoma a few years ago that disced, dozed, graded, ect. around their whole ranch.

Hadn't heard that news yet, hope it doesn't get as bad as the Texas wildfires a couple years ago.

We are watching a fire today, some doofus must have decided to burn off their corn stubble. It is too dry and too windy here to be burning! All it has to do is jump the railroad tracks and our pasture is gonna be on fire. And the wind is coming 20-30 mph. We were planning to burn our pasture off this year, but not until after the soil gets some moisture in it and when the wind is calmer.

Haven't had fires around here (just west of OKC)...just hail storms and tornados :(
Hail killed one of our ducks, several birds that had been sitting in trees, and one farmers new born calf. The hail was the tennis to baseball size....nasty nasty stuff!
