Kris, your problem with Misty came to my mind this morning. Just read a quick article by Dr. Arnold on Pneumonia in Stocker Calves. Due to Mycoplasma bovis. Says it is not responding well to antibiotics due to being "very small and have no cell wall;".

Prolonged treatment is suggested using Chlortetracycline in feed. Hope she gets better.

If its the same mycoplasma draxin is also labeled for use in treatment have had mixed results in own use. It they get to far along in the respitory illness cases may show signs of arthritis in the joints as a pretty sure indicator.

we have only had one calf with mycoplasma and we tried EVERYTHING. the only thing that worked was the 5 day treatment with baytril along with banamine everyday.
