FINISHED MY CALVING WEEK YESTERDAY REALLY WAS HOPING FOR A HEIFER FROM 1252....SHE HAS BEEN A BULL MAMA MACHINE. WITH ONLY THREE COWS I STILL HAVE HER LAST TWO BULLS. ONE IS LAST YEARS CALF WHO I AM DEVELOPING AND THE OTHER IS A THREE YEAR OLD THAT MY COUSIN IS USING IN EXCHANGE FOR PROVIDING HAY FOR MY HERD.
REALLY TICKLED WITH ALL THREE CALVES. LOOK GOOD AND LIFELY AND HEALTHY. PHOTOS IN A WEEK OR TWO....

Naw, He just get's REALY EXCITED about calving week. :lol:

Without looking them up I bet I know why you held onto the three mommas. I had a few Fames and Focuses and it is hard not to just plain enjoy being around them.

actually one is and old ND 036 cow who has been a bull mama extrodinare....she has a slight stifle problem and so I could not have sold her as a cow and yet she is far to good to beef....I am trying to get a replacement heifer out of her....I had one a couple of years ago and I let some one take her from me at a time when I really needed some money.....My son has a real good Fame cow we raised at the farm he works for....
other two are two heifers I kept when we sold the cows....these are their second calves.
