Fertilizing pasture. Spring/fall

I typically spread nitrogen and potash in the spring to my pasture fescue 85 percent 15 percent clover. We are high in dap fortunately on my farm. I have read/ herd that I may benefit more from spreading in the fall. Does anyone else do this or have an opinion

I fertilize in the fall, If I fertilize in the spring the fescue will choke out the summer grass.

Do you spread in August September or October November?

I spread N around September 1 for winter stockpile, P&K as needed in early November for the next year. Usually put some N on hay fields around April 5-10.

i just put out 250 lb / ac 4 days ago.. will try to get atleast another 200 lb / ac by the end of aug. / early sept.
