I had a more tight calving window but bull went bad in this pasture and ended up with a sizeable gap as you can see.branx, I ask because I believe your cows are benefiting from a phenomenon called “bio-stimulation”. Your cows are exposed to bulls from the day they calve. In a controlled breeding system, the first cows to calve wait +/- 85 days to be exposed to bulls. The early exposure is said to decrease days postpartum. I believe this to be the case. I have commented on this in another thread.
