Just in case ya'll have forgotten what rain and green pastures look like,

100_0636.jpg

It's rained just about everyday since I got to La. :(

Would you believe it rained in west TN today? May be too late for any grass but it smelled good.

Warpaint,
Everybody likes a litte ass, but nobody likes a smart ass.

It hasn't rained here in almost 3 months.
We are not only trucking in feed and hay we are now trucking in water.

I got cracks in the pastures that are an inch wide and 6 in. deep.
And what was left of the grass blew away yesterday.
And you got the nerve to post that pic!! :(

Sir,

I'm in the same boat as you. I don't live here, just got sent here to work. I been haulin water for 3 months now. Been feedin for about a month. That's how I got all them chiggers from my other post. Got a neighbor, that hasn't run anything in 10 years, and was checkin his fences to run my herd on. Believe me, I ain't no happier about this than you.

Yup, that what it looks like. I wish ya'll could have some of it. I need to cut some hay. Too dry and you don't get any, too wet and you can't cut it!!  :D :D
