Am curious (after reading posts for months) as to why people either (a) feed unusual things to cattle; or (b) contemplate feeding such things....?
Bovines were evolved to eat natural forages, grains, and related. Their G-I Tract was thus structured.
Of course, cattle can get into things they shouldn't eat by accident.
Somehow I don't ever recall hearing or reading anything aboaut cattle being garbage disposals, paper shreaders, chipper/shreaders, or landfill receptacles.
Yet...people occasionally want to feed their animals something weird.... Why?
