There was piles of silage made here last fall due to poor corn weather. The cows like it, and now put up their noses at meadow hay, but silage is a lot more labor to feed.

I could have grazed more corn in hindsight. Any other low(er) labor approaches to suggest for feeding corn silage ?

I don't think you can get any lower labor than feeding it on the stalk. As far as feeding silage, neighbor used bottomless bunks and slotted feed wagons. Fills them every 4 days or so.
