Feeding Brewers Mash

Help Support CattleToday:

Yes I have, be careful to figure it back to dry, it can get expensive quick . Great feed for cattle .

We don't have access to it here at a reasonably price, but we do have the actual brew. I sort of like that pretty good myself... :lol2:

I hear ya..

As for the wet brewers grain, it's a good product but remember it's probably between 65 and 70% moisture so you have to feed a lot to get any real dry matter intake. It will also be well over 20% crude protein on a dry matter basis.

Thank you for your input. We have been offered it free of cost. Just a short drive to pick it up.
My orphaned boys are about 4 months old now and growing slowly. Was hoping that this would put a little boost into their growth rate. Just want to make sure that it is safe. (they are off the bottle and eating grass and grain).
