I just joined & saw a response from a gentleman who commented to someone else about how to feed beetpulp he asked the person if the young heifer needed more guts or looked sunk in on her show side he seemed to answer the guts part but didn't say if the beetpulp would help with the sunk in part he did say how much to feed. My Heifer is young also a may first heifer & is eating well now but looks sunk in what can I do for her before our show?

Yes you certainly can add beet pulp to a show animals diet. It is easier to digest then a lot of roughage so she will have less of a hay belly on her. You should soak the beet pulp in water before you feed it (2 parts water to 1 part pulp). Start slow so she doesn't bloat on you.
